Merry Christmas!

Dear Friends,

Christmas is almost upon us!  I hope that you will be able to join us for one of our four service offerings this year.  Please see above for service time and details.

It seems especially important to celebrate Christmas with joy and special intention this year.  We are all experiencing the chaos of our civic life and many are going through personal struggles as well.  It is such a gift to remember that the joy of our faith does not depend on circumstances.  It is the same yesterday, today and forever.  The prophet Isaiah’s words that we hear on Christmas Eve are as true today as they were when they were written.

The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;

those who lived in a land of deep darkness--
on them light has shined…

For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;

authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I look forward to sharing the inexhaustible joy of God coming to be with us as we gather together for the Feast of the Nativity.

Christmas blessings,

Shearon+
